一個英文單字可以拆成三部份
字首、字根、字尾
1. dismiss 解散，離開
記憶： dis分離 +miss送→把什麼東西送離開
字首dis (not不,apart分離) 變形：di, dif
字根mis (send) 送 變形：mit
send away/remove from a position/put out of mind
2. inaudible 聽不見的; 無法聽懂的
記憶： in(不) +aud(聽見)+ible(可以的)
→不可以聽見的→聽不見的
字首in (not) im =not (不) 變形:i, in, ir, il
字根aud (hear) 聽見
字尾ible = able = capable of(有能力的,可以的)
3. inspect 檢查，審查
in(進入)+look(看) →進入裡面去看，就是檢查
字首in (in,upon) 字首in(在內,進入)。
變形:en, em, il, ir,im
字根 spect = look, see(看)ㆍ
變形: pect, spic
look over carefully/examine
4. predict 預知，預言
在之前就先說了
字首pre (before) 之前
字根dict (say) 說
tell beforehand
5. transport 運輸
攜帶東西由甲地穿過到乙地

6. epilogue 結尾 ，尾聲
